The chosen artworks can be seen as images from a travel diary of a sort. From the colour-rich, marine-alphabet-like rhythmic abstractions by the Innovation (2009) laureate Sergei Bratkov to lightweight, shimmering like the Northern Lights paintings by the Venice Biennale participant (2013) Victor Alimpiev. Also included are the Innovation nominee (2015), a part of the «Sever-7» art group Leonid Tskhe, Maria Serebriakova, who represented Russia at Documenta 1992, Kirill Lebedev (Kto) and Vladimir Kozhukhar.
